Support Play4Nature: Turning Play

into Power for People and the Planet

At Najimudu Empowerment Initiative (NEI), we believe that play has the power to heal both communities and nature. This October in Kilifi County, we are launching the Play4Nature Eco-League β€” a bold and inclusive festival where sports, music, and environmental action ignite lasting change.

But this is more than an event. It is the first step in our larger vision: Mission 300,000 by 2030 β€” a commitment to build climate resilience for 300,000 underserved persons in Kenya (women, youth, and persons with disabilities).

Play4Nature Eco League

Why Play4Nature Matters

Kenya is on the frontline of the climate crisis. Rising droughts, floods, and disease outbreaks are threatening lives and livelihoods. Yet, young people and persons with disabilities are ready to lead solutions – if given the platform.

Through Play4Nature, we will:
🌱 Plant 100,000 mangroves to restore ecosystems and protect coastlines.
🏐 Engage 2,000 youth through sports, music, and eco-living training.
β™ΏΒ Champion inclusion, ensuring persons with disabilities are central in climate solutions.
πŸ“ŠΒ Support research with KEMFRI to improve mangrove survival rates and scale community restoration efforts.

This launch will kickstart Mission 300,000’s pathway to:
🏑 500 households trained in eco-living by 2030.
πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦Β 10,000 youth empowered as climate leaders.
🌍 1 million mangroves restored, securing biodiversity and carbon capture for generations.
